With over 15 years of dedicated experience in the non-profit sector, Carla Corona has been a stalwart advocate for youth development, after-school programming, and arts education. Alongside her non-profit commitments, Carla imparts her expertise as an educator, teaching Theatre Arts courses at both Antelope Valley College and California State University, Bakersfield/AV Campus. Throughout her illustrious career, Carla has collaborated with prominent national non-profit organizations, leaving an indelible mark as a project manager dedicated to the well-being of children and the advancement of arts and education.
Her unwavering passion for youth, education, and the arts is the driving force behind her involvement with the TahDah Foundation, where she finds inspiration in the transformative work being done for young individuals. In 2022, Carla was elected as Board Trustee for the Antelope Valley Union High School District, a role she embraces with the hope of bringing positive and lasting impacts to students. She earned her M.A. in Performance Studies from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts, and holds a B.A. in Theater Arts from UC Berkeley.
